About Me

Rashmi Kar MD. MPH. FACOG

A life long passion for helping others coupled with a strong lineage of doctors as role models in my family led me down the path of Medicine into a career that allows me to provide my patients with high quality and compassionate healthcare.

I graduated at the top of my class in medical school at MGM Medical College in India and completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from UMDNJ-NJMS in 2006.I have been board certified in OB-GYN since 2010.I bring a holistic approach to medicine in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.

I practiced at Hudson River Healthcare, an FQHC's as the site director and was able to provide quality healthcare services to underserved women in thin Westchester,NY.This experience led me to pursue my Masters in Public Health from Mailman School of Public Health,Columbia University.

I moved to Florida in 2016 and briefly worked at Healthcare district of Palm beach County another FQHC in Palm Beach County before deciding to pursue my dream of being able to apply my skills through the lens of more personalized way.

Healthcare is a basic human right and in the spirit of women empowerment,I believe we need to take ownership of our own health and be mindful of how it impacts quality of life both for ourselves and for our family at large
